Writing about prayer is never an easy thing to do, because everything about prayer is intertwined together. So fearing that I’m repeating myself, here I go again. Many times a friend, boss, or our wives ask us to do something, and we do it for them. It’s no less with our Lord.
Is. 59:16 declares, “And He saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor. Therefore His arm brought salvation unto Him.” In the year 2015 is our God still in these troubled times, still seeking an intercessor that will pray what heaven desires so that He may spare the land and the people? I hope so. My prayer everyday is, God I want to be that man, please help me to be that man. I know there are men more ideally qualified to do this. I can’t take for granted that any of these others will answer the call. The need to pray for this world is far too urgent. Please, will you step up and be that man or woman?
Ez. 22:30 “And I sought for a man among them that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.” Our God then consumed them in His fire of wrath. Are we on this road to our own destruction? Look around at all that is going on and decide for yourself. Keep looking up and Be Blessed.
Starting a relationship with anyone takes a lot of time. When we begin to talk or share together, we talk about our likes and dislikes and as we do so, our relationship will begin to grow. It is the same way with God, we share all those things that are mentioned above as we talk together. The greatest way to increase our knowledge of God is through His word. We converse with God by reading, praying, and even singing His word. A good place to start doing all of these is in the book of Psalms. We gather knowledge and wisdom and most of all, we come to a place of trust in our new relation with God. In this new found trust we are not afraid to tell God all our inner most feelings. Being able to share all these things with God can bring us the peace we have sought all our lives, and it’s a peace that passes all understanding. Be Blessed.
Our lives from the womb until now have been on a collision course with God Himself. The moment the Holy Spirit has come to ask us to receive Him and to pray with Him we should say yes to Him. That is your first communion of prayer. He expects total devotion, and prayer is the only way to converse with Him. Yes, prayer can be a song or praise as it come from our heart to His heart. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7. Know that the Lord has set apart His faithful servant for Himself, the Lord hears when I call to Him. Psalm 4:3 Do not give up on oneself, the Lord has need of thee. He has a divine purpose for your life, and He alone is the author of it. Trust Him. Be Blessed and Remain His Blessing to others everyday.
